Thread Lifts

A thread lift is a non-surgical procedure that uses fine, dissolvable threads (registered medical devices) placed under the skin to support a subtle lift and firmer-looking contours. At Aesthetics by Jane it is performed by Jane Hyde, Registered Nurse (AHPRA NMW0002101092), and is only considered after a private consultation where your suitability, the process, recovery and risks are discussed honestly. Results may vary from person to person.

Thread lifts are one of the ways we can approach skin laxity and early sagging without surgery. Fine threads made from dissolvable material are placed under the skin, where they provide gentle mechanical support while encouraging the skin's own collagen response as they gradually absorb.

A thread lift is not a facelift and is not right for everyone. The honest starting point is an in-person assessment: your degree of laxity, skin quality, facial anatomy and goals all shape whether threads are a sensible option for you, or whether a different plan would serve you better.

Your consultation

Every thread lift begins with a private, one-on-one consultation. Jane assesses your skin and facial anatomy, explains how the procedure works, what recovery involves, the risks (including swelling, bruising, tenderness and the less common ones), and what a realistic result looks like for you. Results may vary and are never guaranteed. If threads are not the right choice for your face, Jane will tell you so.

Recovery & aftercare

Most people experience some temporary swelling, tenderness or bruising, and mild pulling or discomfort can occur while the threads settle over the first weeks. Jane provides clear aftercare guidance and remains available for review. You should be able to plan normal life around it, and Jane will explain the sensible precautions for the first fortnight.

Pricing

Thread lift pricing depends on the areas treated and the number of threads your plan requires, so it is confirmed at your consultation once Jane has assessed you in person.
